ENGINES

The Pratt and Whitney "Twin Wasp Engine installed in this airplane is designated the R-1830-94. It is a 14 cylinder, twin row, radial air cooled engine having a 16:9 propeller reduction gear ratio and provisions for the instillation of a Hamiliton Standard Hydromatic Full Feathering propeller. The constant speed governor for obtaining constant speed operation with this propeller is mounted in a readily accessible location on the nose of the engine.
